Food for Thought

Man it is sooo good to have family in NC! I've been studying for my DANB Exam non stop and Noahs mom and Wade dropped off a bag of study goodies! It was SO cute! Each candy had a saying with it like Gummy Lifesavers said "To give you "security" in knowing that you will do great and PASS with "flying colors" and Pringles that said "To help you stay "chipper" as you "chip away" at those questions!" A Sobe Energy Drink that said "To give you some "Essential Energy" for studying and taking the "Big Test" There were 12 things in this bag of food for thought and it was so sweet and thoughtful! I know if will help a ton! Thanks Marsha and Wade!

Ahh The Beach on Labor Day...Perfect

We went to Wrightsville Beach this last weekend in Wilmington NC it was such a BLAST! We couldn't believe it, only 2 hours away! We've never lived that close to the ocean and I have never had sand in my car so it was a fun weekend. The sand was really soft and FULL of seashells and tiny pieces of seashells! We camped at a KOA nearby and even managed to find a wood palate behing a grocery store to make smores over a fire with, even though it was blazing hot outside!

The Girls

We had fun taking pictures of ourselves...girls! I got sooo sunburned, I was just a bit excited about getting some sun before winter, bad choice!

Boogie Boarding

We rented some Boogie boards, considering there are a few hurricanes coming our way this weekend and next we got some good waves for boarding! The water was sooo warm and the sand went out for a long ways! With the tide coming in it brought a LOT of cool shells so we collected a few:)

Friends in NC

Ryan and Staci on top and Scott and Bonnie on the bottom! Ryan and Noah went to the Uof U together so it was exciting to hear Ryan was getting his masters in NC the same year Noah was! Scott and Ryan are in the architecture program together at NC State so that's how we met!

Noahs Siblings

They all wore green and not on purpose! It was so hilarious!

Ah, Brotherly love, Noah really misses hanging out with his big brother Shawn and we REALLY miss Amy and Noahs sisters Denise and Alyssa. We all have such a blast when we're together. We're really gonna miss playing at the cabin, watching the stars late at night by the camp fire, laughing so hard (especially with the stories and topics Kerry gets us all started on:) Love y'all

Six Nephews and a niece

Oh how we love our nephews! They're crazy and sooo much fun, the life of every party! They're all growing up so fast, they're even passing me up! Makes me so sad to think of how much they will change by the time we're done, well thats what blogs are for right! And sweet little Saige, she has six boys to watch out for her. They're really cute with her!

The Steele/Johnson Fam

We sure miss the fam! This was our last get together before we moved:( It was so much fun to be with everybody. We really look forward to spending time with our sweet grandparents. Our cute nephews love pulling funny faces so it was hard to get a good one but we actually did!!! (Some of the adults love pulling funny faces too!he he)

NC State University

Noahs campus is beautiful! These are the main buildings his classes are in, everyday:) Around here there's major school pride! Eat sleep and drink NC State... Wolfpack pride baby!

Trees Everywhere

Ok family and friends, I finally got this together so you can see where we live!!!

I love the stream that runs through the back of our townhouse (one downfall... mosquitos!)

But it is really beautiful here and we like our little spot! We live in a forest:)

Making the BIG Move

We finally made the 34 hr drive across the country with everything we own in basically a semi!

and yes, I even drove the big rig myself! (Only 3 hours...he he) It's not my fault, my feet couldn't even touch the ground and I had to use my big toe to push the pedal so I didn't last too long! Noah is definitely a trooper! Special thanks to Aunt Dawn Lynn and Lacy for the trucker bandanas!
